After some four years of slow renovations, tempered visioning, and hands on activation, The 5Five Presents is super excited to launch our new gallery and media space, byappointment artspace.
Complimenting the existing studios for music and ceramics, and a semi-outdoor performance stage, the new look gallery and media room will greet guests at the start of the property.

Initially soft-launching with work’s by resident creatives Tegan Koster + Nicholas Mills, the ongoing program will delve deep into the back-blocks of the Far North avant space, and present artists and work that is fresh, poignant and contemporaneously present.
byappointment artspace aims to enable and present diverse offerings – across the disciplines of visual media, installation, screen, performance and sound.
The program will also include the ‘other frames’ contemporary discussion series, which aims to highlight – critical process and work, contemporary themes and contexts, and arts-sector frameworks in need of a straight-talking lens.

In 2026, the program will offer mini-residencies for emerging and established creatives, and provide access to studio space/s, office amenity, and stage and gallery presentation outcomes. Stay Tuned!
